As much as we all now love a couple that shows off their unique style, especially on their big day; an elegantly crowned Bride with plum lips and tattoos, transported via a vintage 1940’s American Indian Chief Motorbike to their stately home wedding is still an unconventional site to behold. Couples are continuing to throw the rule book out in 2019 and I for one can’t wait. Marina is a hairstylist with over 20 years’ experience, while she still loves to elegantly style traditional updo or boho waves, getting to be creative and push boundaries is so much fun. This shoot was inspired by all the up and coming creative couples she gets to work with and was styled around the vintage 1940s orange Indian Chief, lovingly restored by her talented partner and donated for the day, as well as her glamorous models, Danielle and Tegan who are her go-to vintage models with incredible tattoos. She loved styling Danielle’s beautiful brown hair, into a low traditional updo with a subtle vintage twist and centre parting all styled back into a beautifully curled chignon, topped off with a one of a kind vintage inspired tiara, designed by Beverley from ps with love. Along with full glamour makeup and a vintage a-line dress from Cambridge vintage weddings, the shoot really combines the glamour of American women in the 1940’s with the boundary pushing alternative styling of 2019 couples that we will continue to see plan incredible weddings that combine traditional elegance with abundance of their own personalities shining through .
